Former Crawfordsville resident, Patrick R. Roche, 55 of Arlington, Tx died Tuesday at Limerick, Ireland of injuries sustained when he was struck by a truck while on vacation. Mr. Roche was a masonry contractor and had resided at Arlington for the past 21 years. He was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church at Arlington. He was born July 15, 1924 at Crawfordsville, a son of Daniel and Julia Tobin Roche. He was married Dec 30 1946 to the former Irene Nunan, who survives. Other survivors are two sons, Kelly and Ken Roche, both of Arlington; a daughter, Keri Roche of Arlington; two brothers, Tom and Hugh Roche both of Crawfordsville; three sisters, Margaret Mannerian of Waveland, Miss; Mary Virginia Elliott of Chicago and Ann Cook of Colfax; and a granddaughter. Services will be at 10 am Monday in St. Bernard's Catholic Church with Father David Clifford officiating.
